Estelle is a French photographer, initially trained in graphic design before studying photography at CEPV in Vevey.

What draws her to photography is the relationship, to others, to oneself, and to what happens in between. Her documentary work grows from there: she takes the time for exchanges, for silences, for the relationship to the camera, until something reveals itself. She is interested in how women of her generation are seen, in the body, in the power dynamics that every image carries. Photography becomes a gesture of dialogue, perhaps of reclaiming.

A cinephile at heart, she feeds her eye through cinema and a deep interest in clothing. She brings this attention to her commissioned work, whether in fashion, portrait, or on-set photography. The same questions run through both practices: how to be honest in front of someone, how to represent or tell stories.

Alongside her personal work, she shoots in studio and regularly returns to the darkroom, committed to an analog practice she tends to with care.
